AEW Double or Nothing 2021 saw a packed card
As far as we can see, the American reporter rated the Jacksonville federation ppv very positively. The main event that pitted The Inner Circle vs The Pinnacle did not receive any votes, although it was not a cinematic match.
The lowest rated match was the single match between Cody Rhodes and former English boxer Anthony Ogogo, with 2.25 stars. The Casino Battle Royal (which saw Jungle Boy triumph) and the contest valid for the TNT Championship had the same rating, namely 3.25 stars.
The Tag Team match that saw Darby Allin & Sting vs Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page and the AEW women's title match had 3.50 stars out of 5. The first Triple Threat match for the AEW world title and the match between Adam Page vs Brian Cage had 4.50 stars.
The highest-rated match is the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between The Young Bucks vs Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley with 4.75 out of 5 stars. So yes, Dave Meltzer, as well as many fans, liked Double or Nothing quite a lot.
AEW Double or Nothing 2021 saw a packed card as ten amazing matches took place on the night of the event. However, as always, with every positive, there were some points that stuck out to the fans, failing to deliver as much as the hype had been.
The event saw Cody Rhodes face Anthony Ogogo, while Kenny Omega defended his AEW title in a Triple Threat match. The AEW TNT Title, the AEW Tag Team Championships, and the AEW Women's title were all on the line as well.
