On the match against Britt Baker at Full Gear: "Working with Britt was really something really special. She is at the top right now in the women's division and is definitely the face of our federation.

Working with someone like her was really very special. I was very happy to have a match with her and I know that I will soon take her place " During the PPV, Tay Conti had one of the best entries of the night and on that she said, "I was talking to friends and I was like, 'Oh my god, what can I do for my entry to Full Gear?' The same week before the PPV, I was like, 'God, I haven't really thought about it.

Nobody told me anything about it. But then I said to myself 'what should I do? what can I do?' I was thinking 'In Judo or MMA, how do you do it?' I was trying to identify myself from that point of view."

Tay Conti then explained his idea for the entry of Full Gear: "I went to Tony's and I said, 'Hey, do you have five minutes?' Tony is always available to talk and so I then explained my idea to him. I was like 'I don't know if we can do it because I know it's super last minute, but I got this idea, can we do it?' He was like 'yes, of course, we can do it, we will do it for sure, it's easy.'

So, I then ordered my flag on Amazon. I have to say that Amazon saved my life. "On the fact that AEW has improved so much:" I have improved so much because I am 100% happy. This is the most important thing. I have a great coach here like Dustin who is doing a great job with me and I'm really grateful to him.

All of this is happening because I am happy with myself. I can be myself and show who I am without being judged. I feel like people trust me a lot. That's why I'm happy and then I can give my best. If you are happy, everything is fine."

Since leaving WWE, Tay Conti has been on the rise in AEW and has finally gotten a proper chance to showcase her pro wrestling skills. Conti has developed a lot of her in-ring capabilities and her matches in AEW have showcased the improvement.
