MJF Threatens To Join the WWE

Maxwell Jacob Friedman, better known as MJF, is one of the most popular wrestling stars in AEW right now. MJF joined AEW years ago, and has since then rose to the very top of the AEW several times. He was involved in one of the most important AEW storylines in recent times.

Some journalists even stated that he is the best heel wrestler in the world right now. It has been rumored for quite some time that WWE is interested in hiring MJF in 2024 when his current AEW contract will expire.

MJF Speaks About What Will Make Him Sign with the WWE

Cody Rhodes is currently the most popular former AEW star that joined the WWE after leaving AEW, even though he didn’t say positive things about the WWE after he left the WWE.

Many people believe that MJF will actually join the WWE if they offer him a huge sum of money. He spoke about that on Monopoly Events. “I don’t know if you guys are aware of this, but on January 1st of 2024, I’m going to be a free agent,” MJF said.

“Who here would want to see me in WWE? So let me explain something to you people — I did not get into this business to make any of you happy. I got into this business to make as much money as humanly possible. “And if Vincent Kennedy McMahon is willing to shell out more money than my good friend Tony Khan, then yes, I would go to WWE”.

The problem is, that nobody can ever tell whether MJF is serious or not about what he says during interviews, as he stays in character almost all the time. He hasn’t been caught out of character quite often, and even during signings, he maintains his character.

The host asked MJF about whether or not he will ever be better than Chris Jericho. He replied by saying he is one of the top draws that AEW currently has minute-for-minute. “That’s funny because, at only 26-years-old, I’m the biggest minute-for-minute rating draw in all of AEW,” MJF said.

“So I was able to do that in, what, half the time he was? When he was what, 26, what was Chris Jericho doing? That’s right, jacksh*t”. MJF keeps reminding people that he is extremely successful for being extremely young. If he doesn’t get injured, many people believe that he may become one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
