In the latest installment of AEW Dynamite, the long rivalry between Serena Deeb and Hikaru Shida saw its end with the former having managed to make her opponent give in with a painful submission in the leg. After the ringing of the bell that decreed the winner, the AEW director shifted his attention backstage to frame the female champion, the Mexican Thunder Rosa, as she watched the contest through a screen.

At this point, with Deeb having concluded her rivalry with the Japanese, and with Rosa who was left without a challenger after defeating Nyla Rose, it is thought that the two could compete in a very short time.

Serena Deeb has important ambitions

AEW wrestler and trainer Serena Deeb joined SiriusXM's Busted Open Radio 48 hours after her tough battle against Hikaru Shida in a Philadelphia Street Fight on Dynamite, talking about their past in NWA.

"You know, we have a past," Deeb said. "We have a history. In the whole of NWA, we had a feud, I think it was three matches, right around the time I started AEW, those first few months. So we have some history, and it could be the time to revisit that story." But that's not all, because The Professor of Professional Wrestling has a clear stipulation in mind if the two get to clash again even in Tony Khan's company.

“Well, my dream match would be an Ironwoman Match,” Serena Deed revealed. “That's the dream. I love all the stipulation ideas and all, but I'm stuck in technical wrestling. This is what I love to do and it also applies to her.

We are both very technical, and I think an Ironwoman would be magical with her." What to say? It wouldn't be bad at all to see them face off in a similar match in All Elite Wrestling with maybe the belt up for grabs. It could really be something magical.

Deeb went on to make her AEW debut in September 2020, losing to Thunder Rosa. Deeb impressed and signed a full-time deal with AEW later in the same month. Deeb ended up beating Thunder Rosa to win the NWA Women's Championship at a UWN Primetime Live pay-per-view in October 2020.

Serena Deeb was a guest on a recent episode of AEW Unrestricted. During her appearance on the podcast, the NWA Women's Champion discussed her time as a member of CM Punk's Straight Edge Society in WWE.
