The last PPV of the All Elite Wrestling house has now gone to the archives, with Double or Nothing leaving a great impact on the fans of the Khan family federation, with numerous matches that went on stage as expected, one above all that between Wardlow and MJF.
To give the event a further shock, there were also two debuts that fans had not expected at all, with two very famous faces of WWE NXT, who have appeared for the first time in the All Elite and from here we will probably also see a great future for them in front of the television screens of America's number two company.
We are talking about Malcolm Bivens and Ember Moon, who appeared just tonight in the AEW PPV, leaving fans stunned by their presence, absolutely not foreseen until the eve of the paid event of the All Elite. The first to surprise AEW fans was the former NXT manager who obviously's had to change his ring name, and now's calling himself Stokely Hathaway, his real name.
He was first seen in the match between Jade Cargill and Anna Jay, valid for the company's black athlete's TBS Championship.
Malcolm Bivens and Athena join AEW
Stokely turned out to be the manager of the Baddie Section. We remember how Malcolm Bivens, had expressed his desire not to renew his contract with the WWE at NXT, with the federation that at the first moment available, had then fired him along with other prominent names of the color roster.
A further shock in the event was given by Athena's arrival in the ring of Double Or Nothing, with the wrestler formerly known as Ember Moon who stepped into the ring after the titled defence of Jade Cargill, with new music like the Fallen Goddess, with her independent name that immediately made fans understand who she was. She also lands in the AEW rings after her release by WWE.
