Chris Jericho Praises Jake Hager

Chris Jericho and Jake Hager are part of the Jericho Appreciation Society and Chris recently praised Jake Hager. Jake is a very well known former WWE wrestler. He never reached the top of the WWE, but he was still a prominent on-screen character.

He was also part of some noteworthy storylines during his WWE run. Chris revealed that Jake is currently the problem solver in the group. He also stated that Jake is extremely underrated within All Elite Wrestling, even though Jake is a legitimate MMA fighter and has fought very well inside the Octagon.

Chris Jericho States that Jake Hager is Extremely Underrated in AEW

“Jake is one of the most underrated guys in our company,” Jericho said. “Only because whenever he’s given something to do, he always kills it.

Always, every time, no matter what it is. If it’s a 1% thing, he’s there. If he has to main event a no people match against Moxley with only Jim Ross commentating, it’s there. So I was like, ‘We don’t need to get a new heater, I’ve got one.'

” Hager has revealed in the past that he is quite happy to be part of the JAS. He was first part of the Inner Circle which was also Chris Jericho’s group. Jake commented on ‘The Wizard’ moniker and he stated he did not understand what it was at the start.

“Honestly, when you first came out the week after the fireball with ‘The Wizard’, I didn’t know what you were talking about,” Hager said as “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard laughed in the background.

“I was like, ‘Is this pinball? What are we talking about here?’ And then you said that s**t in the promo, and I died. It was so awesome”. Chris Jericho joined AEW back in 2019. He immediately started a feud with Kenny Omega as soon as Kenny joined AEW as well.

The first-ever main event that took place at Double or Nothing saw Kenny fight Jericho. Jericho went on to become the very first AEW world champion. He dropped the title later on to Jon Moxley.
Jericho formed the Inner Circle after several months.

It was mainly a heel group but they were a baby face group when they were feuding with MJF’s faction. They eventually became the Jericho Appreciate Society and they are still considered a heel group.
