Lance Storm comments on Jeff Hardy's arrest

The wrestling world has had a lot of bad news in the last few days. From the arrest of Jeff Hardy to the WWE internal investigation into Vince McMahon to the possible release of Sasha Banks. As everyone knows by now, the 'Charismatic Enigma' was arrested on Monday in Volusia County, Florida, for drunk driving.

This was his third DUI arrest in the past ten years. The AEW star exceeded the legal limit in Florida by three times. In the latest edition of his podcast, Booker T threw a jab at Tony Khan’s federation: “I think AEW needs to take some responsibility.

If we look at the number of flights that put Jeff's safety at risk, we realize that the pain comes with them immediately. When you are in pain, you often drink or take substances to relieve the pain. Knowing Hardy's history, All Elite Wrestling should have handled him better”.

To the microphones of 'Figure Four Daily', Lance Storm expressed his opinion on this sad story.

Lance Storm on Jeff Hardy

"Jeff Hardy is clearly in trouble, he's really sick and he needs help. Although the situation is known to all, he continues to be involved in very dangerous encounters in which he has to perform a large number of acrobatic moves.

In the history of wrestling, there have been many athletes who took a lot of risks in the ring and who - to alleviate the pain - resorted to alcohol and substances. This is a problem that must be addressed once and for all” - said Lance Storm.

“Jeff Hardy risks getting hurt every time he steps into the ring and he's not very young anymore, so he could suffer devastating consequences. Outside the ring, he tries to alleviate the pain with alcohol and drugs.

It doesn't take a genius to understand that this combination is not accidental” - he added. Jeff Hardy has been suspended unpaid by the AEW and will have to go to rehab. Speaking on the “Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling” podcast, Kross admitted he still cannot understand why he lost to Hardy in just 100 seconds.

“It didn’t seem like this was going to produce anything that was gonna provide a strong return,” Kross said. “So I just didn’t get it. I didn’t understand it. I went out there and I did my absolute best.

I did everything exactly what they asked me to do. I didn’t drag my feet about it, nothing. I try to look on the bright side of everything”.
