Kris Statlander recently changed her gimmick, which allowed her to renew herself a bit and almost start over with something that could make her appreciate more by the public, as she told in a YouTube interview with Jaychele Nichole.
But in addition to thinking about herself right now, she is joining forces with other colleagues, whom she says she loves to help. AEW star Kris Statlander was close to signing a deal with WWE, but one of the tweets that she had made in the past proved to be a major obstacle in the deal.
Speaking with Jaychele Nicole, the former alien wanted to tell a little about the latest things that happened to her in AEW, opening up about her collaboration with Anna Jay.

The duo have won their last two matches together and have stood side by side during their ongoing feud with Jade Cargill and the Baddies.
"So yeah Anna, I love Anna so much. We don't always team up together all the time. But the few times we do I have this thing where I always try to get people out of their comfort zone kind of like we all should, you know, testing the waters with people, it only works really well if you really trust the person.
Like, if Anna trusts me, it'll work out fine. And I think she is opening up a little more and making her feel more comfortable than she is. And she is still so new. And she is still learning and, in short, we are all learning all the time.
I'm not saying I'm like a 20-year veteran or anything like that. I've only been doing this for six years. Yes, six years. So I'm still pretty young in the industry compared to a lot of other people. But if you come to me for advice, I will always be there to help you.
And I did it before I got involved in her meetings or anything like that. I am always open to helping people who want advice or just need something. I like being there for whoever wants me." In addition to Anna Jay, Kris Statlander is also currently teaming up with Athena, former Ember Moon, and young but talented Willow Nightingale, to fight the Baddies.
This caused her deal with WWE to fall apart right before she signed. "There was one tweet I made about how my old school got put on lockdown because police thought that a suspicious person was carrying a gun or a weapon at a gas station nearby the school.
So my college went on lockdown, but it was just a guy holding an umbrella, and because I mentioned police in the tweet, it got flagged and stuff like that."
