During AEW Double Or Nothing 2022, Wardlow defeated MJF by freeing himself from his contract with him to officially sign one with Tony Khan's company who welcomed him with open arms. This allowed him to start the solo career to build a career all of his own and even if for now, some obstacles have come in his way, this good giant seems to want to break the world with his talent.
During a chat with Blake Oestriecher of Forbes, he said he had a specific goal in mind: "I'm very in tune with the numbers, and my main goal for AEW is that I want to be the reason why we have more spectators. I want to be the reason why the female audience goes up.
I want to be the reason why the 18-49 age range increases. I want to be why our ratings are higher." Now, Wardlow will indeed have another good reason to say certain things, as the giant AEW athlete became TNT champion for the first time in his career, going on to win the match.
which was scheduled for tonight, in the latest episode of AEW's Dynamite.
Wardlow won
Tonight, during the last weekly episode of the Khan family's All Elite flag show, a match was scheduled for the title of Scorpio Sky, the TNT Championship, with Wardlow coming to this challenge with a very long run-up starting from Double or Nothing, an event in which he managed to shake off his bitter tormentor, MJF, who had great power over him dictated by the contract that Wardlow had signed with him.
In the episode, obviously, Scorpio Sky has scattered all its henchmen and its partners to try to stop the devastating power of the giant AEW, but always in vain. After knocking out all of Scorpio Sky's friends, including Ethan Page, Dan Lambert and the various American Top Team characters, Wardlow also knocked out the champion with his Powerbomb symphony, which Sky couldn't do anything about, being pinned.
This is the first truly great success of the mammoth athlete AEW, who reaches his first title in the second most important company in the world after WWE. Hager's first loss in the All Elite scene came at the hands of Jon Moxley.
Since then, he has been involved in multiple feuds, most recently joining the Jericho Appreciation Society after his previous stable, The Inner Circle, was disbanded. Just hours ago, the AEW star posted a hilarious video alongside his wife, Catalina Hager, where they were fighting playfully. The clip featured a moment where both pointed at a toy box with The Viper's image.
