Dynamite: Jay Lethal scored a prestigious win

Welcome to the report of the new episode of Dynamite that closes the Shark Week Discovery. A match between two ROH pillars, Jay Lethal and Claudio Castagnoli, and more is scheduled! At the commentary table, as usual, we find Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and the Hall of Famer Jim Ross.

The episode opens with a tag team match between the former champion and the member of the Dark Order against the team of Butcher and Blade. The four had had an altercation backstage at Dynamite. "Hangman" Adam Page & John Silver vs.

The Butcher & The Blade The face team wins thanks to Adam Page's patented Buckshot Lariat against Butcher. Once again, therefore, the Dark Order comes out triumphant. The cameras move to the ring where we see Claudio Castagnoli talking about his match against Jonathan Gresham.

The Swiss claims to be the best at what he does and no one on the roster can replicate his skills in the ring. Castagnoli promises to beat the opponent and become the new Ring of Honor world champion, a title he has never won in his career.

Jay Lethal vs. Christopher Daniels

"Inhuman" Dante Martin vs. Lee Moriarty The athletic skills of Dante Martin must give way to the cunning of Lee Moriarty, who steals the victory by pinning by clinging to the ropes.

At the end of the match, Matt Sydal takes the microphone and challenges Moriarty to a match for next week at Rampage. Stokely Hathaway, who has been watching the match the whole time, offers his business card to Moriarty, but it is not accepted.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Jamie Hayter (with Rebel) vs. Ashley D'Amboise & Skye Blue New couple match, this time entirely female. To win is the heel team thanks to the Lock Jaw of the former champion against Ashley D'Amboise, forced to surrender.

Time for a Rap Battle between the Acclaimed and the Gunn Club, at loggerheads for weeks now. To win are the Acclaimed, but are then attacked by the opponents who knock them down, taking the last word. Jay Lethal vs Christopher Daniels Main event between two historical faces of ROH as well as friends/rivals of Samoa Joe.

The winner is Lethal thanks to the patented Lethal Injection. Post-match Satnam Singh throws the Fallen Angel out of the ring, while Lethal takes the opportunity to apply the Coquina Clutch, Joe's finisher. The mind games because of Death Before Dishonor, scheduled for tonight, have officially started: the two will compete in a "one on one" match with the ROH TV Championship, currently held by the Samoan, at stake.
