Has Chris Jericho been contacted by WWE recently?

In recent weeks, Triple H has fleshed out the WWE rosters by replenishing its NXT wards, sadly released en masse during the Vince Mcmahon era. Hunter wants to make the episodes of Raw and SmackDown even more sparkling and unpredictable and, apparently, the surprises are not over.

Meanwhile, in recent weeks, a rumor has spread that WWE had contacted a superstar currently under contract with Tony Khan's AEW. The report also went on to point out that this person turned the call from a member of the WWE Talent Relations team to the person representing him by not answering the call directly.

What if that person is Chris Jericho? The Canadian has fueled speculation on social media by responding to the request of a fan who would have wanted a stable with Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Jericho himself. His answer? "Some high floors want it to happen as soon as possible".

Jericho then used the hashtag #tampering, a verb that in jargon indicates when an employee already under contract with a particular company is teased by other companies.

Was Chris Jericho contacted by WWE?

Knowing Chris Jericho's modus operandi, however, it cannot be ruled out that it is simple trolling to feed rumors on the net.

Despite having been in AEW since 2019, the former World Champion has always remained on good terms with WWE, even taking part in the "Stone Cold" Steve Austin "Broken Skulls Sessions" podcast. And despite the disagreements he had in WWE during the Attitude Era, perhaps for the classic backstage politics, Jericho has repeatedly met Triple H, calling him a brother and congratulating him for what he did.

The Canadian also recently spoke on the scandal involving Vince McMahon, admitting that he has always loved working with him. Jericho does not currently have a match for All Out, the next AEW PPV, but many believe that he must clash with American Dragon Bryan Danielson.

Recently, Chris Jericho opened up about his WWE exit: "There's no bitterness when I tell this story or no anger; it's just the way it is. I've been working in this business for a long time. So you mentioned Kevin Owens and Jericho and we had the best story on the show for months.

One of the original plans from Vince's (McMahon) mouth to my ears directly was the main event of WrestleMania, which was going to be Jericho vs Owens for the world title, and Jericho wins the title, for the first time ever as a babyface."
