*Spoiler* Britt Baker shocked everyone

Welcome to the second part of the AEW Dynamite report. After a big opener and the revelation of the name of the new MJF stable, it's time to move on. Match, set, go! Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Matt DiMartino A fairly simple victory for the former member of Team Taz thanks to a spinebuster.

He takes the microphone and reminds everyone that he defeated Ricky Starks at All Out in under five minutes. The time has come for him to move on. The former FTW Champion appears in the crowd and enters the ring attacking Hobbs and knocking him down after hitting him with a microphone.

The revenge has just begun. AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Lucha Bros — Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix ā€‹ā€‹(with Alex Abrahantes) Swerve In Our Glory (c.) - Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee. Another very important challenge held by the current champions before the Grand Slam.

The Mexicans arrive very close to victory after a crazy Canadian Destroyer by Penta El Zero Miedo against Keith Lee, but the latter and Swerve Strickland win. In the post match, Acclaimed enters the stage and promises fans to become the next couple champions, urging Swerve never to interrupt them again when trying to rap.

The two teams will clash next week after the match they had at All Out. All Elite Wrestling Interim Women’s World Champion Toni Storm & Athena vs Serena Deeb & Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (with Rebel).

Britt Baker surprised everyone

The first and only female match of the evening is a couple match in which the current champion makes Tag with the former Ember Moon.

The opponents win thanks to a distraction from Rebel and the use of a chair that allows Serena to back Storm. In the post match Jamie Hayter gets in the ring and hits Athena with a chair. Britt Baker tells her she's sorry, but Jamie leaves the ring alone.

Britt Baker recently revealed that she didn't sign a contract with WWE back in 2016 as she was still in dental school at the time. "But, Canyon Ceman, at the time, he was like the gatekeeper for independent wrestlers to get into NXT.

He pulled me aside at the end of the tryout. And he was like, 'you know, you've just started dental school. As a father, I have a hard time pulling you from a professional degree.' My heart dropped," revealed Britt Baker.
