AEW President, Tony Khan has been extremely busy hyping the return of Mike Tyson to AEW. Mike Tyson According to many boxing experts Mike Tyson was one of the most dangerous heavyweights of all time during his prime. He was feared by many of his peers and only a few boxers were able to step into the ring with him.

He had a very high knockout percentage, and many attribute his first loss as a result of not being able to concentrate during the fight due to the personal issues that he had during that time.

Mike Tyson will not be appearing for the first time in AEW.

He has appeared before for AEW but has never been part of any major storyline. He did have an in-ring segment with Chris Jericho and many people thought that he would actually wrestle for AEW. That never happened. On AEW Rampage, Mike Tyson will be a guest commentator.

This week, AEW Rampage will take place inside the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NY. AEW’s recent press release was to hype up his appearance. Tony Khan shared his excitement in the press release as this would be Mike Tyson’s 5th AEW appearance.

"We love having Mike Tyson on our shows and now fans will get a chance to see a different side of Mike in AEW as he steps into our commentary booth for the first time alongside the incredible team of Jim Ross, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone," Khan said.

"I'm excited for everyone in Atlantic City and those watching on TNT and around the world to see what Mike has in store for us. AEW is firing on all cylinders right now and adding Iron Mike to the mix elevates everyone's game even further." Mike Tyson himself is happy about returning to Atlantic City.

Mike had 13 of his professional boxing fights in Atlantic City. Out of the 13, 3 of them were world title fights. His last fight in Atlantic City took place in 1990. Since AEW is not doing well in rating and many people have lost faith in the brand, after the AEW All Out CM Punk incident, Tony Khan is trying his best to save his company from truly falling. They recently lost their biggest star, CM Punk as a result of his actions at AEW All Out.
