Thunder Rosa updates fans after her injury

As previously reported, during the episode of AEW Dynamite on August 24th, Thunder Rosa had announced that she was injured, letting it be known later in various interviews that it is some back problems, and therefore she cannot temporarily continue her reign as a champion and the AEW had thus decided to organize a Fatal-4-Way to decree an interim champion.

The match was scheduled for AEW All Out 2022 starring Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, Toni Storm and the longest-running champion, Hikaru Shida. To win in the end was Toni Storm who is continuing the reign as interim champion, with Rosa still remaining the champion.

Toni Storm is called to defend her belt in pay-per-view at AEW Full Gear against Jamie Hayter, with the two now throwing digs and attacking each other week after week.

What's next for Thunder Rosa?

Obviously, several months have gone by now since the announcement of the luchadora break and everyone is wondering whether or not she will return to AEW to challenge the temporary champion and see which of the two will continue the reign.

In a new video on Instagram, Thunder Rosa offered a new update on her recovery. Speaking in Mexico, while being honored with a spot on the Tijuana Walk of Fame, the champion said that while she is eager to return, there is still no timeline for a return: "A special mention to the entire AEW women's division, you're doing great.

I'm improving. The time is coming. I'll be back soon, "he said. "I know you guys are really eager to know when I come back, the news will come later. Sorry I don't have a timeline." We should therefore wait to know when she will be back in action and in the meantime we will find out next weekend who will have to challenge to decree the definitive champion between Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter, even if for now many give as favorite the ally of Britt Baker, always very cheered during the weekly bets.

AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa has called out WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze for a match and says she wants to retire the veteran. She claimed that she wants to retire Medusa, saying: "I’m gonna retire Madusa, just said it… Yeah, she knows that.

She’s a good friend. Definitely, I would like to retire her for sure”. AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa, during the same event, also called out former WWE Women's Champion Sasha Banks.
