Kenny Omega Speaks About AEW All Out Drama

Kenny Omega with other members of The Elite made their return at AEW Full Gear and Kenny recently spoke about the recent AEW All Out Drama. After AEW All Out ended, members of The Elite and CM Punk had a fight backstage. That resulted in all the people that were involved in the fight, to be suspended.

Also, there it is highly likely that CM Punk will never return to AEW, as the investigation that AEW launched to look into the backstage fight apparently did not end in favor of CM Punk.

Kenny Omega Talks About The Incident at AEW All Out and Urges Fans to Let it Go

CM Punk was actually at one time the most popular wrestler in WWE and was also at one time the most famous wrestler in the world after joining AEW.

He helped the company get the ratings that they had longed for. His AEW career may have ended due to that fight. It was reported that many people in AEW were not happy about CM Punk being part of the AEW locker room as he used to ‘outshine’ most of his peers quite easily.

Recently Kenny Omega asked fans to let all the Drama go. On Saturday, “F*** CM Punk!” chants could be heard, which may have resulted in AEW actually deciding to definitely not let CM Punk back in the company. Omega urged the fans to simply let the issue go during an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Kenny is still one of AEW’s EVPs and has a lot of power backstage. "There are things no one can talk about, so I'd encourage people to let it go," Omega. "It doesn't change that we want a team effort in AEW. I don't even mean implicitly myself and my opponent.

It also means the referee, the fans, the people who set up the ring, everyone–even a technical error can ruin the memory of a match. I can refer back to the exploding barbed wire death match. So I encourage people to move away from it because there is no information to be released.

Though I cannot talk about it, I do want the fans to know I still want the best for pro wrestling." After AEW All Out, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were taken off AEW TV. They remained absent for nearly 2 months and were never mentioned during any segment at all.

It was almost as if they had disappeared from the company altogether. Ace Steel, CM Punk’s friend and trainer, was also involved in the fight. He was released last month by AEW, which may signal that CM Punk will also be asked to leave the company.
