Andrade El Idolo announces that he has had surgery for a torn bib

Andrade El Idolo was supposed to fight recently in an RGR Lucha Libre show, but unfortunately he was removed from the event card due to some physical problems that are afflicting him and which prevent him from actively fighting as he would like.

To break the news, the promotion had released a video message from the former Sombra on Facebook, where he says he would not be able to appear at the company's Nov. 20 show in Cudahy, California. In the video, Andrade, wearing the typical hospital gown, talks about the problem that is keeping him at home at rest.

"Greetings to all my friends in Los Angeles! I would have loved to meet you all this Sunday, but I had a problem to solve. I will give more details at a later date. If it was up to me, I would have loved to be there with you all.

I hope to see you all in Los Angeles and I apologize”.

Update on Andrade El Idolo's status

In a post on his social media, Andrade El Idolo let his fans know directly that he was no longer able to perform in the rings of AEW, or of various independent promotions, because he tore a pectoral muscle and had to undergo an operation.

The luchador thus wrote in the post, accompanying his thoughts with various photos: “My first [surgical] operation. I can't believe this happened. A few months ago, I tore my bib. Thank goodness I wanted and was able to finish my match.

I continued to work because I love this business, but we know that many people do not value your commitment, and on days off I used the opportunity to go to the doctor”. We remind you that Andrade no longer appeared in All Elite Wrestling due to a furious argument, complete with a fight, which broke out backstage in one of the episodes of Dynamite with Sammy Guevara, due to some statements by Charlotte Flair's husband who had stated that Sammy complained about how heavy he fights in the ring.

Charlotte Flair hasn't been seen on WWE programming since WrestleMania Backlash, and we now have a reason why. "He gave me an opportunity and helped me a lot in NXT and I spoke to him when I requested my release," Andrade El Idolo said.

"We are on good terms and he always mentioned that I can keep in contact with him. I cannot say that I have contacted him recently, but it is difficult due to legalities. And if he wanted to speak to me, my wife works there, so he can always reach out to me from there too.

It is difficult at the same time because Ashley (Charlotte Flair) has time off due to personal reasons and she will specify them in future interviews."
