Is Andrade El Idolo still injured?

Andrade El Idolo was supposed to fight in November 2022 in an RGR Lucha Libre show, but unfortunately he was removed from the event card due to some physical problems that are afflicting him and which prevent him from actively fighting as he would like.

To communicate this news, the promotion had released a video message from the ex Sombra on Facebook: "Greetings to all my friends in Los Angeles! I would have liked to meet you all this Sunday, but I had a problem to solve.

I will give more details at a later date. If it was up to me, I would have loved to be there with you all. Hope to see you all in Los Angeles and apologies." The wrestler later announced that he had surgery: “My first [surgical] operation.

I can't believe this happened. A few months ago, I tore my bib. Thank goodness I wanted and was able to finish my match. I continued to work because I love this business, but we know that many people do not value your commitment, and on days off I used the opportunity to go to the doctor”.

Now, thanks to Ric Flair speaking on his To Be The Man podcast (WrestleTalk transcript), we have a little update on that injury: "I haven't spoken to him in a couple weeks, so I don't know exactly how long it will be, but I know he's working out.

I know for a while Manny [Andrade] could only train with one arm, but he kept working his legs and everything."

New details on Andrade El Idolo

After a massive fight with Sammy Guevara backstage at AEW, the luchador continued to send cryptic messages about his future in the company, not even happy with the booking he was receiving.

So for now we still have to wait to find out what his future will be in the ring. Also, in December, he rewarded himself for his hard work and getting through the surgery by going on a vacation to Italy with his wife Charlotte Flair.

Road Dogg recently shared an interesting perspective on the heat between AEW stars Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara. "If I hit you really hard and it's too hard, I'm going to apologize to you anyway, like, 'Oh that's my bad dude, I caught you with that one.

I don't even know how to compute that... If you don't want to be on either end of those receipts, then you're barking up the wrong tree as far as business opportunities."
