Christopher Daniels spoke to Wrestling Inc about Konnan and the great relationship he has with him. “Konnan and I have been friends for a very long time, all the way back through TNA. He’s a great guy. One of my greatest feuds was with myself and AJ Styles when he was the manager of LAX, Homicide and Hernandez”.

- Daniels said, as quoted by pwmania.com Daniels had only words of praise for Konnan. It is obvious that they are great friends, as Daniels confirmed. "So we went through wars together and I respect him very much as a promoter, as a booker, as a gentleman.

And I’m happy that he respects my work enough to ask me to be a part of AAA. And I think he’s one of the best representatives of Mexican wrestling ever and I’m proud to be a friend of his”.

Christopher Daniels on future stars

In a recent interview with Pwmania.com, Daniels talked about a variety of topics, one of which was who he sees as a future star.

Looks like there are a lot of names on the list. “I feel like a lot of the guys who come through AEW already fit that bill unless they wouldn’t be a part of AEW. I’ve been fortunate to work with people like Jungle Boy, Athena, Action Andretti, and Private Party.

I’ve agented their matches in the past, and they often seek me out and ask my opinion. Those are just the ones off the top of my head. If I sat down and thought about it I could come up with another 20. That’s just how deep our roster is right now.

We also have a pretty full cast of coaches. The company has talented coaches too like Jerry Lynn, Billy Gunn, Dean Malenko, BJ Whitmer, Pat Buck, and Sonjay Dutt. There’s a lot of experience to draw from in AEW, and I’m very glad to be one of those guys to help steer the young talent in a direction”.
