There are many wrestling fans in the world that still wish to see CM Punk wrestle for AEW once again, even after everything that happened at the 2022 All Out PPV. Though many sources and outlets have made it clear that is unlikely that CM Punk will ever return, it hasn’t stopped some people from hoping that he will one day.

One of the reasons why people believe that CM Punk will return is because he helped AEW get good ratings after he made his wrestling comeback.

Booker T Believes That All of This is Part of Some Angle

CM Punk became part of a few headlines since his now delete Instagram post that led many to believe he will still be involved with AEW in the future.

Booker T spoke about that post recently. Booker T is a legendary WWE Hall of Famer, but is mostly known for his work in the WCW, where he won the WCW title 5 times. He is also a 2-time WWE Hall of Famer. Punk reacted to a post by Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently.

According to the report, Jon Moxley refused to lose to CM Punk, and CM Punk was forced to wrestle even before being medically cleared to wrestle due to his foot injury. According to Booker, CM Punk was never part of an angle.

"One thing about insider information and stuff like that, brother, it just goes to show me what this business is. Where you're talking about the business, and giving all of the insider information to the fans that watch. They're the ones that're writing your check.

That's the dumbest thing I could ever imagine in my life! Certain terms being used in that little soliloquy... It just amazes me how childish these guys really are." CM Punk also referred to Chris Jericho as a ‘stooge’.

However, according to Booker T, Chris has been one of the most professional people in the entire company. Booker also stated that he fails to understand why CM Punk would be so negative about Chris, who was his WrestleMania 28 opponent.

Booker also stated that he was confused about why Punk would tell the world that Jon refused to lose to him and called it “the [most] childish thing I've ever seen in my life, as far as a 44-year-old man talking on [Instagram]." Booker still believes that this is all part of a huge angle. He believes that the way AEW does angles is very different to how most other wrestling promotions do.
