This week's episode of "AEW Dynamite" in Detroit, Michigan, will see ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli face off against ROH World Tag Team Champion Rey Fenix.
Double Jeopardy Stipulation Unveiled
The Double Jeopardy match brings an intriguing stipulation: the winner will earn a future title shot at the opponent's championship.
If Castagnoli emerges victorious, he and a partner of his choosing will challenge for the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Conversely, if Fenix triumphs, he will face Castagnoli in a one-on-one match for the ROH World Championship.
The date for the title match has yet to be determined. The May 10th showdown will also mark the first-ever singles encounter between Fenix and Castagnoli, as their past interactions were limited to multi-man matches. While these two champions prepare to familiarize themselves with each other's styles, other rivalries will unfold on "Dynamite." Two former AEW World Champions, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega are set to battle inside a steel cage, and rising adversaries Anna Jay A.S.
and Julia Hart will face off in a No Holds Barred match. In addition to these captivating bouts, Julia Hart's House of Black stablemates - Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King - will put their AEW World Trios Championships on the line against Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) and Bandido on "Dynamite." As the anticipation builds for AEW Double Or Nothing, the action-packed lineup for this week's "AEW Dynamite" episode promises to deliver unforgettable moments and set the stage for some high-stakes confrontations.
