Jungle Boy Jack Perry, one of the most promising stars in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), recently shared his thoughts on who he seeks advice from within the company and why he doesn't necessarily turn to veteran wrestler Billy Gunn.

Perry, considered one of the four male Pillars of AEW, is set to compete in a high-stakes four-way match at Double Or Nothing, featuring fellow Pillars MJF, Sammy Guevara, and Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship. During a recent appearance on The Love of Wrestling with Monopoly Events, Jungle Boy was asked about his go-to sources for advice in AEW.

He explained that while he enjoys conversing with people like Luchasaurus, he doesn't see eye-to-eye with Billy Gunn, as their in-ring styles are vastly different. Jungle Boy explained, "I used to like to talk to Luchasaurus a lot.

I feel like working with him a lot; he knew my style and, I guess, what I was good at and what I was looking for." He added that everyone in wrestling has unique perspectives and ideas, so finding someone who shares your vision is crucial.

"I think there are a lot of people, I think, who don't; I think everybody thinks of wrestling differently," he said.

Jungle Boy Avoids Gunn Advice

Jungle Boy emphasized that there are better times to seek advice from someone like Billy Gunn, who has a different approach to wrestling and dislikes certain moves, such as the Canadian Destroyer.

"So I kind of talk to people within my kind of vein of what I'm trying to do for the day," he concluded. Interestingly, Jack Perry isn't the only AEW star to spark conversation about seeking advice from veterans. Former AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page has also made similar remarks.

As AEW continues to grow and establish itself as a powerhouse in the wrestling industry, the interplay of ideas and advice from up-and-coming talents and established veterans will shape the company's and the sport's future.
