Tensions escalated between the OC and Hit Row ahead of their showdown on tonight's "WWE SmackDown," with the provocation extending to social media. The saga began with Top Dolla, of Hit Row, initiating an OC diss track. A brief exchange between Mia Yim and Top Dolla followed, culminating in a pointed message from Yim towards the Hit Row's member.
Yim retorted to a gif of Kevin, a character from "The Office," showing two thumbs down, with a succinct message: "That's everyone when y'all come out without Swerve." This referenced Swerve Strickland, formerly a part of the Hit Row stable in WWE's NXT brand as Isaiah "Swerve" Scott.
Strickland had left for AEW after Hit Row was released in 2021, leaving the remaining members to make a return to WWE in 2022 without him.
Top Dolla Retorts Yim's Barb
In a defiant comeback, Top Dolla challenged Yim's quip, saying, "You prolly stole this tweet like he steals my ideas," accompanied by an image of Hit Row featuring Strickland.
Meanwhile, AJ Styles from the O.C., has had a packed schedule across the WWE platforms. Recently, he was in action at WWE's Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia, where he narrowly lost to Seth Rollins in a match to establish the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion.
Just two days later, Styles made an appearance on "Raw" where he extended a gracious commendation to Rollins for his triumph. Subsequently, Styles and Rollins, the newly minted World Heavyweight Champion, collaborated in the main event of the show.
There, they claimed a victory over The Judgment Day's dynamic duo, Finn Balor and Damian Priest. As the heat continues to rise between Hit Row and the OC, fans will undoubtedly be watching with anticipation to see the sparks fly during tonight's "WWE SmackDown."
