Fuego Del Sol Ends AEW Tenure

In a significant announcement after nearly a two-year stint with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), professional wrestler Fuego Del Sol has stated that he will not be renewing his contract with the organization. He made the announcement via a video posted on Twitter, disclosing that his AEW tenure will officially conclude on Saturday, July 1, effectively making him a free agent in the wrestling industry.

Del Sol's Farewell and Future

Del Sol, 27, expressed profound gratitude to the team at AEW in his farewell address. However, he didn't leave without assuring fans about his forthcoming endeavors in wrestling, asking them to be on the lookout for his next significant moves.

"I'm just getting started at the age of 27. I have only just begun to showcase to the world the true depth of my talent," Del Sol stated emphatically. "I am the hottest free agent in the market now. The real grind starts now and it's time for me to set the wrestling world ablaze.

And if there are skeptics out there or individuals who refuse to believe in me, they'll be in for a surprise with what I do next." Adding a note about his health, Del Sol informed fans that he had been medically cleared to resume action following a debilitating foot injury.

This unfortunate incident occurred during a triple threat match at a Supreme Pro Wrestling event in February when a competitor unintentionally fell on Del Sol's right foot, fracturing it in five places. Given the severity of the injury, he had to undergo surgery, which put him out of the ring for three months.

Despite the setback, Del Sol displayed a steely resolve to return to wrestling, announcing that he is ready to accept bookings once again. His last AEW appearance was aired on the February 20 edition of "AEW Dark," where he competed against Juice Robinson.

This announcement symbolizes the end of an era in AEW, and the wrestling community eagerly anticipates Del Sol's next steps in his promising career.
