Sting May Have Lost a Tooth After Table Spot

According to many wrestlers, fans, and critics, Sting is one of the best wrestlers of all time. He was the face of WCW for a very long time and was one of WCW’s main attractions. His gimmick of ‘Crow Sting’ helped WCW win the Monday Night Wars for some time.

The first time we saw Crow Sting was back in 1998. Sting was one of the only wrestlers that carried WCW during the Monday Night Wars along with the NWO.

Even after all these years, Sting continues to wrestle. Even though he is way past his prime, his move-set allows him to perform quite well still during tag team matches. Sting is currently 64 years old and is regularly featured on AEW TV.

He still performs moves that people half his age won’t dare to perform. On Dynamite this week, Sting jumped off a ladder and crashed into Sammy Guevara who was placed on two tables outside the ring. However, Sting didn’t aim his jump correctly, and his mouth hit Sammy’s knees quite badly.

This resulted in Sting having blood dripping out of his mouth throughout the match. Sting received a huge number of ‘Holy Sh–t” chants after he performed the jump. The wrestling move was performed during the Sting and Darby Allin vs Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.

During the match, Sting also performed some of his most popular wrestling moves, including the Stinger Splash, The Scorpio Death Drop, and the Scorpion Death Lock. After the show went off air Sting received “Thank you, Sting” chants.

Sting in response said “No, no, thank you” to all of the fans that were in the arena. Sting revealed that his tooth got knocked out after the spot and he will require stitches. But he also added, “It was worth it to do it right here”.

Sting ended his speech by thanking Tony Khan for letting him still compete at the highest level. Only a few wrestling promotions in the world would allow someone of Sting’s age to perform such moves. In fact, many people actually criticize Tony Khan for allowing Sting to perform such moves which can actually end his career.

Sting has already stated that he is nearly at the end of his career and he will most likely retire for good this year. Many people believe that Sting will end his career by wrestling a singles match for the very last time against Chris Jericho.

Many also believe that Tony Khan will try to have at least one more year out of Sting as Tony loves Sting and is a huge fan.
