In a surprising revelation to their avid fanbase, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced a revision to the start time for the much-anticipated AEW All In event. During a high-octane segment on the April 5th edition of Dynamite, AEW's president, Tony Khan, dropped a significant revelation.
For the first time, AEW will be crossing the Atlantic to mark their debut on UK soil. Set against the iconic backdrop of Wembley Stadium, AEW All In is slated for Saturday, August 27th. The decision to host at Wembley – a behemoth of an arena with vast seating capacity – raised eyebrows initially.
Many perceived it as a bold gamble. However, the dice seems to have rolled in AEW's favor. Ticket sales have skyrocketed, outstripping WWE’s historical sales figures from WrestleMania 3 in 1987. Moreover, it surpassed ticket sales from SummerSlam 1992, a monumental event that previously graced the very same venue.
With such impressive numbers, the industry buzz suggests that AEW All In might just clinch the title of the "best-selling wrestling event ever." AEW's Director of Business Development, Jeff Jarrett, exuded confidence in recent remarks, hinting that a sellout is almost guaranteed.
AEW Adjusts All In Timing
However, the road to this groundbreaking event hit a slight bump recently. On August 14th, Ticketmaster, the official ticket distributor for the event, dispatched an email to all AEW All In ticket holders.
The correspondence addressed a tweak in the event's scheduling. Originally slated for a later slot, the event will now kickstart an hour earlier. As per the revised schedule, the doors to Wembley will swing open for attendees at 3:30 pm local time, with the main event commencing at 5:00 pm.
The email from Ticketmaster assured fans: "While there's a slight reshuffling in the timings, rest assured, the essence of the event remains untouched. Your tickets are still perfectly valid. All you need is to mark the updated time and be there to witness history in the making.
Apologies for any inconvenience, and we truly hope the show exceeds your expectations." With the stage set and the countdown ticking, fans globally wait with bated breath for AEW's historic UK debut.
