Tony Khan Anticipates Exciting AEW Dynamite Segment

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) President Tony Khan is stirring anticipation for a potentially explosive segment set for this week's "AEW Dynamite." The focus? None other than Kenny Omega and the fallout from Don Callis' shocking betrayal earlier in the year.

Speaking candidly on the "Battleground Podcast," Khan highlighted the much-anticipated sitdown interview between Kenny Omega and wrestling commentator legend, Jim Ross. Fans speculate that this interview will shed light on the growing tensions between Omega and Callis.

"Let's not forget the pivotal role Don Callis played," Khan remarked. "He masterminded Kenny's ascent to the AEW World Championship and was integral in Kenny retaining it. But, at his core, Kenny is a standalone talent. He didn't need Callis to be an exemplary champion."

Callis Betrays Omega's Trust

However, Khan added, "It became abundantly clear that Callis exploited and manipulated Kenny, especially after his unexpected betrayal during Kenny's steel cage match with Jon Moxley." That betrayal saw Callis, once Omega's staunch ally, side with Moxley, turning the tides of the match by using a screwdriver against Omega.

This twist caught many off guard, intensifying the narrative woven into AEW's weekly programming. Last week's "Dynamite" had Omega hinting at discussing his future aspirations and revealing plans for the imminent All In pay-per-view at Wembley.

With The Young Bucks recently accepting FTR's challenge for the AEW World Tag Team match at All In, fans are left guessing about the roles of Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page, the remaining members of The Elite. But that's not all on the Dynamite roster.

AEW's commitment to delivering adrenaline-charged content is evident. A jaw-dropping Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death match is set between Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett. Moreover, the AEW International Champion will defend his crown against the up-and-coming Wheeler Yuta.

Women's division action is also heating up, with Dr. Britt Baker and The Bunny vying in a qualifier match, the prize? A shot at the coveted AEW Women's Championship at All In. This week's "Dynamite" promises to be a roller-coaster, and under Khan's leadership, fans can undoubtedly expect fireworks.
