When the All-In event at Wembley Stadium unfolded, many eagle-eyed fans and members of the press couldn't help but notice the attendance of former WWE Superstar and IWGP Women's Champion Mercedes Mone. As expected, this sparked a flurry of questions directed at Tony Khan, the President and CEO of AEW.

In the subsequent press meeting, Khan was candid about Mone's presence at the event. He emphasized that while the world-class wrestler was indeed in the crowd, she had not been cleared for any in-ring performances. Mone has been on the sidelines nursing an ankle injury she sustained during the NJPW Strong Women's Championship tournament finals in May.

"It's undeniable that Mercedes adds a certain charisma wherever she goes," Khan expressed. "Having her present during the AEW Women's World Championship match and others is a testament to her passion for the sport. Although she's not ready to step back into the ring, her presence alone speaks volumes.

She has had a stellar career, especially with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, which appreciates her talents immensely."

Tony Khan further clarified, "As of now, Mercedes is not poised to wrestle or participate in any physical capacity.

Yet, her attendance as a top-tier international star only added to the allure of the All In event." Interestingly, it wasn’t just Khan who spoke about Mercedes. Saraya, who clinched the AEW Women's Championship in a riveting four-way match against reigning champion Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm, and Britt Baker, also shed light on Mone's attendance.

Winning the title was a landmark moment for Saraya, made even more memorable with Mone in the audience. "In many ways, I feel honored to have secured this title with Mercedes watching," Saraya reflected. "Seeing someone of her stature in the audience just added to the weight of the moment.

I genuinely hope we see her officially joining the AEW family soon." While the future remains uncertain, one thing is clear: the wrestling community holds Mercedes Mone in high regard, eagerly anticipating her next move.
