Last week's electrifying "AEW Dynamite" episode saw a heated face-off between Adam "Hangman" Page and Swerve Strickland, which culminated in a sudden ambush by Brian Cage, a prominent member of Strickland's faction, Mogul Embassy.

This altercation has set the stage for a gripping encounter between Cage and Page on this week's "Dynamite," broadcasting live from the Heritage Bank Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. Ahead of the anticipated match, Cage didn't mince words, issuing a bold proclamation aimed squarely at the AEW stalwart.

Taking to Twitter, Cage declared, "I'm not venturing to Cincinnati just to take a fall. Page is in for a prolonged night and a shocking reality check. Who tops Cage? No one, and certainly not Adam Page."

Page's Dramatic Victory

The ambush on Page is notably significant as it happened three days after both wrestlers locked horns in the Over Budget Battle Royal at the AEW All Out Zero Hour pre-show.

Of the 20 contestants, the battle boiled down to a dramatic showdown between Cage and Page. However, " Hangman " showcased his grit, managing to avoid elimination and subsequently throwing out Cage. His victory served as a testament to his in-ring prowess and secured a generous donation of $50,000 to the Chicago Education Fund.

Historically, Page and Cage have had their in-ring differences. In 2021, the two engaged in fierce one-on-one battles, with both wrestlers claiming victory. Cage's triumph over Page was etched on the April 28, 2021, episode of "Dynamite." However, Page couldn't back down and retaliated with a defining win at that year's Double or Nothing event.

As the wrestling community eagerly awaits this tiebreaker, Cage's recent actions and words suggest he's more determined than ever. The upcoming "Dynamite" promises an intense clash, with both wrestlers hungry to cement their dominance. With the score currently level, who will seize the bragging rights this time? Only time will tell.
