In a revealing interview with Joseph Staszewski from the New York Post, leading up to the much-anticipated AEW WrestleDream event, ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson confirmed he is "fully cleared" to wrestle.

Wrestling fans and industry insiders had been holding their breath, keenly waiting for updates on Danielson's health, especially given his recent injuries. Danielson candidly elaborated on the intricacies of his clearance, saying, "Our doctors would still not like me to do certain things, but from like two weeks ago when I had the tag match, the strength in my hand is coming back way faster than they thought it would, the mobility and all that stuff." His resilience and swift recovery are undoubtedly a testament to his dedication to the sport.

However, the wrestling superstar isn't out of the woods just yet. He mentioned he still needs to tread with caution, possibly for the next year. The nature of his injury led to the insertion of a steel rod in his arm. Bryan stated that while this stabilizes the previous break area, the rod end could act as a "fulcrum for the bone to bend against," increasing the likelihood of another fracture.

Dream Match Awaits

Interestingly, the NY Post article highlighted that this injury reshaped his wrestling approach. Danielson had to pivot to "more violent gimmick matches," not for the sheer spectacle but as a strategic move to shield his arm better.

This turn of events turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Ricky Starks. Matches such as the Strap Match and the Texas Deathmatch showcased Stark's courage and passion, endearing him even more to fans and creating a deeper connection with the audience.

AEW WrestleDream promises to be a monumental event, with Danielson set to face Zack Sabre Jr. in what's being billed as a "dream match." The stakes? Determining "the best technical wrestler in the world." It's a face-off that's sending ripples of excitement across the wrestling community, with both athletes at the peak of their game.

In summary, while Bryan Danielson's journey to AEW WrestleDream was paved with challenges, it has set the stage for electrifying matches that fans worldwide are eagerly waiting for.
