In recent developments from the wrestling world, there's been notable buzz around the future of AEW star, Jungle Boy Jack Perry, after his provocative encounter with CM Punk. On the night of the 'All In' pre-show, Perry apparently took a jab at Punk, commenting, "It's real glass, cry me a river." This was in response to Punk cautioning him against using real glass during their act.

The verbal jab was followed by an intense backstage tussle. The aftermath? CM Punk was shown the exit door, while Perry faced suspension. With the drama from that night starting to wane, chatter about Perry, the former AEW Tag Team Champion, rejoining the AEW has grown louder.

However, industry insider, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, recently shared, "Nope, nothing new on him. He’ll be reinstated, hopefully, at some point, but I don’t know when that would be." It's inferred from recent reports that Perry's suspension isn't permanent, hinting at a potential comeback when conditions are deemed suitable.

Mantell's Take on the "Real Glass" Clash

Throwing light on "The Real Glass" incident, WWE veteran, Dutch Mantell, during a discussion with Mac Davis on Sportskeeda's Smack Talk, gave his perspective on the altercation. Mantell mentioned, "He did go out there and send a message right to Punk.

If I had advised someone not to follow through with a move, and he blatantly ignored my advice on stage, I'd definitely be fuming. Upon reentry backstage, I'd confront him. From what I gathered, Punk was more the aggressor. He didn't land a punch, but he surely made his point.

I heard he took to a table, knocking off the monitors in sheer fury." With Jungle Boy Jack Perry conspicuously missing from the ring since 'All In,' fans are on tenterhooks, eager for the day they witness his grand return.
