During her time in WWE, she was known as Sasha Banks. She fought some of WWE’s best women at the time she was there, and won the most important titles during her run there.

However, Mone’s career was full of controversies. She walked out twice and refused to compete. She didn’t like the way the creative team was handling her. She was never fired by the WWE. She instead, walked out of the WWE with Naomi one night and never returned to the WWE again.

Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select recently stated that AEW and Mone has no working plans. He also stated that Mone and WWE are not in talks according to him. However, Mone is asking for a lot of money, reportedly. Mone appeared on the ‘Zero Hour’ pre-show in August during the All In event.

That was her first and last appearance in AEW. She was sitting in the crowd and her name was shown on the graphic, on-screen. Mone is dealing with an ankle injury. She suffered the injury while performing for New Japan Pro Wrestling and STARDOM.

She recently lost a title fight against Willow Nightingale. It was for the NJPW Strong Women’s Title. Before this fight, Mone was rumored to appear at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. As of August, reportedly, Mone and AEW have been in talks to start working together.

It has also been reported that Mone is open to working with AEW in the future. According to the various reports, one source was very ‘optimistic’ about the two sides working together in the future. Another source stated that it is ‘in the works’.

Since then, there have been no updates. Mone walked out of the WWE in May 2022, with Naomi. Naomi is now known as Trinity. According to reports, the two wrestlers were suspended without pay indefinitely and were quietly released after a while.

Mone won the WWE women’s title a total of seven times during her run with the company. She also held the WWE Women’s Tag Title three times during her WWE runs.
