In a thrilling update for wrestling fans, AEW CEO Tony Khan has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce a highly anticipated match for the upcoming Worlds End pay-per-view event. Set to take place on December 30, this event will feature TBS Champion Julia Hart defending her title against the formidable Abadon in what promises to be a gripping encounter.

This announcement follows an intense episode of "AEW Collision" on Saturday night, where Julia Hart teamed up with Skye Blue in a tag-team match against Abadon and the returning Thunder Rosa. The match culminated in a victory for Rosa and Abadon, with Rosa delivering a decisive Tijuana Bomb to Blue.

This win comes as a significant development, especially considering last week's episode of "Collision," where Rosa intervened to assist Abadon, who had been under attack by Hart and Blue. Since her return to AEW TV in October after a brief hiatus, Abadon, a member of the House of Black, has been relentlessly taunting her now-confirmed challenger, Julia Hart.

Hart's Remarkable Reign

Julia Hart's journey as the TBS Champion has been nothing short of remarkable. Her last title defense was on the November 29 edition of "AEW Dynamite," where she successfully faced off against Emi Sakura.

Hart's reign as TBS Champion began following her victory at AEW Full Gear, where she triumphed over then-champion Kris Statlander and Skye Blue. Notably, Hart has etched her name in the history books as the youngest All Elite Wrestling star, at the age of 22, to hold a title within the company.

Worlds End is shaping up to be an event filled with high stakes and exciting matchups. Alongside the TBS Championship bout, fans can look forward to the finals of the AEW Continental Classic. Additionally, MJF is slated to defend the AEW World Title against Samoa Joe in what is expected to be a powerhouse confrontation.

In a gripping No Disqualification match, Christian Cage will go head-to-head with his former ally, Adam Copeland, for Cage's TNT Title. Moreover, HOOK will be defending the FTW Title against Wheeler Yuta. In the women's division, "Timeless" Toni Storm is set to defend the AEW Women's World Title against Riho, the first-ever AEW Women's World Champion, adding another layer of excitement to an already electrifying event.

As the Worlds End pay-per-view draws near, the wrestling community buzzes with anticipation, eager to witness these incredible athletes showcase their skills and determination in the ring.
