Bully Ray, the host of Busted Open Radio, spoke about the CM Punk and Hangman Page situation recently. CM Punk cut a very infamous promo that created a lot of drama within the company.

It eventually led to CM Punk exiting the company. During the interview on The MMA Hour, CM Punk spoke about his conversation with Page. The spoke about what they will talk about at the go-home episode of AEW Dynamite before the event happened.

They agreed on what they will say. However, Page during the promo ditched all of that and tried to tear Punk during the promo. He also suggested that CM Punk got Colt Cabana fire and that Page wished to take the responsibility to protect the locker room from Punk.

"These guys sit down, they plan out their verbiage to work together," he said. "All of a sudden, you get to the ring and one guy decides to take everything that was agreed upon and throw it out the window. That's called going into business for yourself.

If it all went down the way Punk is explaining on the interview with Ariel, then yes, Hangman has gone into business for himself, or any wrestler who does that has gone into business for themselves." "Shooting on somebody doesn't only come in the form of physical in the ring.

It can come in the form of on the microphone with your verbiage. Just like John Cena shot on The Rock and called him out for the verbiage on the wrist," he added. This was a reference to a 2012 episode of WWE RAW during John Cena and The Rock rivalry.

"That's shooting on somebody. That's going into business for yourself. And that's why The Rock got so pissed, because you kind of went someplace that there's an unwritten rule that we don't go near." CM Punk was at one time the highest value signing that AEW had.

Many people believed that he will change the entire landscape of professional wrestling by working at AEW. That never happened.
