Nyla Rose on LGBQT Members in Pro Wrestling

Many people from the professional wrestling industry have shown tremendous support for members of the LGBQT community. Most of them do not find a good work environment, but some of them have found a good place inside the world of professional wrestling.

Professional wresting is a place where almost everybody is welcome, but of course there are people who don’t like certain things that take place. Many veteran superstars have criticized the inclusion of inter-gender matches for example.

Nyla Rose is currently working for All Elite Wrestling and she is a member of the LGBQT community. She spoke about her life and how she wants people to accept her for what she is. She spoke about it on Sport Illustrated. "Being trans, I don't really have a choice compared to someone gay, les, or bi.

People who don't go through any physical changes when being out. My decision to be out as a bi, and be open about being trans was intentional. I want others to see the normality in a life that may be different than theirs”.

Nyla Rose was also the first out transgender wrestler that was signed by a big wrestling promotion. A number of not straight wrestlers were also part of the WWE. The WWE never let such wrestlers feel bad for coming out inside the WWE.

"The wrestling industry used to be this over the top manly thing that really played to a target market of cis white straight males between 12 and 25," Rose said
