A number of famous professional wrestlers have side gigs or other jobs. The smarter wrestlers know that they can’t wrestle after they get old, but they still need to earn. Many WWE wrestlers have opened various businesses and generate passive income.
Some wrestlers have even used their professional wrestling careers to transition to other careers. Many WWE superstars are now famous Hollywood action heroes. Britt Baker currently works for All Elite Wrestling. Not only is he a well-known wrestler, but he is also a training to be a dentist.
Britt Baker spoke about how he balances his two lives on The Daytona Beach News-Journal. "It feels like it never ends, but it's always something I am excited about," Baker said. "I'm excited to wake up and work every day.
I'm excited to travel on the weekends and wrestle. People tell me I'm crazy, but I'm just really passionate about two spectacular careers that I'm lucky enough to pursue. ... If I thought that [wrestling] wasn't going to be a career, I would have quit a long time ago and saved myself a lot of stress in dental school, and a lot of sleepless nights.
Balancing the two was brutal. It was the hardest time of my life." It is true that All Elite Wrestling’s schedule might not be as tough as WWE’s and that is why Baker can actually continue his training.
