In a recent revelation that has stirred the wrestling community, one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Will Ospreay, has openly called for WWE's high-flying sensation, Ricochet, to make a switch to AEW. Speaking to, Ospreay, who is often called 'The Aerial Assassin,' stated that he does not like the way that Ricochet is being used in the WWE and suggests that he is not being utilized to his full capabilities in the company.

An accomplished high-flyer himself, Ospreay is best known for his aerial skills and criticized the booking of Ricochet a man who was once a former WWE United States Champion but feels that the wrestling giant has not tapped on Ricochet's full potential.

And then he madly argued that in AEW not only will Ricochet get to have the recognition he truly deserves, but as well the spotlight he rightfully is entitled to. The wrestling community quickly responded to Ospreay's comments by bombarding X, previously known as Twitter, with a mixture of support and skepticism.

This had some fans excited when it came to the possibility of Ricochet being a part of that venture. "No joke, Ricochet in @aew has been a dream of mine since day one!" one enthusiastic fan tweeted.

For others, though, it left them asking what would be strategically next for Ricochet, noting that the audience volume and exposure between WWE and AEW tend to vary widely. This controversy among followers was also fueled by a nostalgic post on X, in which a clip from NJPW Best of The Super Juniors event was shown, with a date on May 18, 2017, that displayed Ospreay up against Mr.

High Fly. In response to the act of reminiscence, Ospreay tweeted eagerly looking forward to getting the opportunity to face Ricochet once again and said, "Would love to see what would happen now." Throughout their careers, both Ospreay and Ricochet have fought in different promotions against each other, such as EVOLVE, NJPW, PWG, OTT, and WCPW, having memorable fights that audiences have either given several or have taken place around the world.

The wrestling world will have its eyes glued to that screen, waiting and watching to see if Ricochet makes the jump over to AEW. Whether the big move will come to life or just remain in Ospreay's dreams is another thing, but it sure spices up alive and interesting the wrestling discourse.
