The episode of August 28th, 2024 of AEW Dynamite ended with the celebrations of Bryan Danielson after the victory of the AEW World Championship in that of AEW All In, having defeated in the main event the now former champion Swerve Strickland. The American Dragon wanted to talk to his fans about what his future will be considering that he was theoretically putting his career at stake in that match and that for a year he made us understand that he would retire from being a full-time wrestler, becoming more of a part-timer.

The champion said it was probably time for him to go home as the AEW roster is great. But it can not end like this, and so he wanted us to know that he does not want to retire as AEW champion, but will do so only when he loses that title and anyway not officially retire, but it will be a retirement as full time wrestler, Which means that we may occasionally see him still come into the ring.

Bryan Danielson is a true legend

Obviously now AEW is trying to figure out the most suitable face to oust Bryan Danielson from the role of champion and retire as a full-time, and according to Dave Meltzer, with the news reported by WrestlePurists, could be Darby Allin to have this honor.

In the last episode of AEW Dynamite, the federation added several matches to the card of AEW All Out, including the match for the AEW World Championship.

The contest will see Bryan Danielson defend the AEW World Championship against TNT Champion Jack Perry. To lead this challenge was the invitation of the new champion to the men’s locker room, saying that he knows it is full of young talents who deserve a titled chance, and to show up in the ring was Jack Perry who attacked him by surprise even though he first appeared on the mega screen saying that it will be him to permanently withdraw the American Dragon taking away his belt.
