Based off their recent trademark filings, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is begging to look festive for the Christmas Season. On the November 18, AEW submitted trademarks for “Dynamite on 34th Street” and “Christmas Collision” under the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) banner. Christmas themed episodes of the promotion can easily be expected to air as the plans to run such episodes during the Christmas period are still to be finalized. If the two new names on the list are sanctioned, it will be a drastic change how AEW has been ending its programming in recent years.

Christmas themed episodes of AEW have been ‘Holiday Bash’ and ‘New Year’s Smash’. With the addition of the two new trademarks, they risk facing removal in order to make room for one another, potentially Athena’s First Round Cup. All in all we can expect some entertaining episodes at the bay that will be in the air during their festive period alongside other scheduled festivities for AEW.

AEW Brings Winter Event to New Locations

The Special Event “Winter is Coming” is about to return as AEW has confirmed it will occur on December 11 this year. The event will take place in Kansas City Missouri and in doing so it has decided to break the Tradition of always being held in Texas since the event first started in 2020.

Furthermore, there are reports that suggest that AEW may have two events at the Hammerstein Ballroom located in Manhattan New York during the Holidays. These include Ring of Honor Final Battle Pay Per View and the December 21 episode of Collision. Also, since there is no venue specified for the episode of Dynamite set to happen on Christmas, it is possible that AEW could remain in New York for the rest of the year.

On a different note, AEW has recently applied for a trademark under the name “Champions Parade” and that name is well known for being associated with the World Class Championship Wrestling belonging to Fritz Von Erich. This filing coincides with the involvement of Ross and Marshall, Von Erich’s grandsons who are holders of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team gold.
