Tony Khan on Having a Friendly Schedule

A number of popular former WWE superstars regularly speak against the WWE. The WWE does not hire its wrestlers. Almost all wrestlers work for the WWE as independent contractors. Most indie wrestlers join the WWE and immediately regret it.

Many famous indie wrestlers failed in the WWE and never found success after returning to the indie circuit. It is true that the WWE pays its wrestlers really well! No indie promotion can pay its wrestlers as well as the WWE does.

The WWE also places a very tight schedule on its wrestlers. Some wrestlers spend 12 hours on the road to get from one arena to another. Ryback is a former Intercontinental Champion, and he was the one that really made the tough schedule well-known throughout the world.

Tony Khan is the current president of All Elite Wrestling. He stated that All Elite Wrestling will have a wrestler-friendly schedule. "We're basing the company to be way more wrestler-friendly and in terms of the scheduling, because we're not going to have a constant touring of five nights a week or anything like that, six nights a week never," Khan said.

"And really focusing on that and building the big events, big pay-per-views and streaming specials." This is good news for indie wrestlers and current WWE wrestlers that want a wrestler friendly schedule. Some people believe that AEW will beat the WWE one day.
