All Elite Wrestling just keeps on getting bigger and bigger. They are slowly and steadily getting as big as the WWE, and that is not good news for the WWE, which is currently the largest wrestling promotion of the world. Some of the best former WWE wrestlers and employees have already joined All Elite Wrestling, and are helping them compete with the WWE.
It was just announced that Alex "GoldenBoy" Mendez signed with All Elite Wrestling. Mendez himself tweeted that he has joined the company, but AEW officially announced it recently. "It's OFFICIAL! I'm #AllElite @AEWrestling Dreams come true," he tweeted.
Mendez has worked with AEW before at AEW Fyter Fest. He joined Excalibur and Jim Ross on the announce table. This was back in June, and that could happen because AEW and CEO Gaming are partners. Mendez is well known for his work in eSports, and The Rock's Titan Games on NBC.
The broadcast team now consists of Marvez, JR, Excalibur, Justin Roberts and Tony Schiavone. This is according to AEW’s official website. All Elite Wrestling will be airing their weekly TV show on TNT, which will start in October.
WWE is so worried about that show that they have decided to pit WWE NXT against it. WWE NXT will now also be held on Wednesday with AEW’s weekly TV show. This means we are heading towards a Wednesday Night Wars.
