CM Punk Reported Turned Down Big AEW Offer

All Elite Wrestling is, without doubt, one of the world’s biggest wrestling promotion. They are backed by a billionaire, so they have a lot of money to spend on acquiring the best wrestlers. They already have a roster full of some of the best indie stars.

They are also TNT’s partner, and they have a show called AEW Dynamite which airs on TNT every Wednesday. Even though they have all the best indie stars, they still couldn’t get one big name to their already star-filled roster.

That name is CM Punk. Some people believe that CM Punk was the best WWE Heel of all-time, if not the most successful one. That honor most likely goes to Stone Cold Steve Austin. There is no doubt about CM Punk’s ability though.

He was excellent on the microphone and he was a fantastic wrestler. New reports have emerged which suggest that CM Punk actually turned down an offer from AEW. According to those reports, the deal was quite a big one and CM Punk still turned it down.

This probably indicates that CM Punk is not interested in wrestling anymore and has other things that keep him busy. CM Punk left the WWE in 2014 as he believed that the WWE was not giving him the opportunities that he deserved.

He stated in an interview with Colt Cabana that he wanted to main event WrestleMania. The WWE never put him in a WrestleMania main event, so he asked to be released.
