Kenny Omega talks about the AEW women’s division

Kenny Omega is primarily known for his background in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), a Japanese federation in which he fought from 2010 to 2019, once conquering the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, once the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, twice the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, once the IWGP United States Championship, once the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship (with Kōta Ibushi) and twice the NEVER Openweight 6-Men Tag Team Championship (with the Young Bucks); in the summer of 2016 it also won the main tournament of the federation, the G1 Climax, making it the first and the only non-Japanese wrestler to have achieved this result.

In a Q&A on his Twitter account, the AEW superstar talked about the AEW women’s division: “Still developing the face of the division, but Riho’s proven to be an inspiration to many, Shida is the complete package, and Kris has shown that she has the tools to take the div to another level.

Lately, most ‘criticisms’ I read are incredibly ignorant. Depressing the amount of fans that have absolutely no class. That being said, I do try to sift through those to get to the actual constructive criticism”. On November 9th at Full Gear, Omega faced Jon Moxley in an Unsanctioned match, but was defeated.
