A former Impact Wrestling world champion debuts at Double or Nothing

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) had promised the debut of a mysterious superstar in Double or Nothing, and so it was. During the "Casino Ladder Match", valid for a shot at the Company's world title, no less than Brian Cage, former Impact World Champion, made his surprise entrance.

To accompany him on the stage, Taz thought about it, for months now on a stable basis in AEW, who apparently will from now on play the role of his manager. Brian Cage dominated the last part of the match and graduated as a number one contender.

Apparently the challenge with Jon Moxley would be scheduled for Fyter Fest in June, but at the moment there is still nothing official. Brian's possible arrival at Tony Khan's court had already been widely discussed in January, when he hinted that he was about to expire a contract with Impact after the "Hard to Kill" PPV and that he had to recover from an injury.

We will see what plans the AEW will have for him and if he can carve out a leading role even in these conditions. We remind you that Cage is only 36 years old and has a great past in federations such as AAA, Lucha Underground, Pro Wrestling Noah, PWG and many others.

Cage was hired by World Wrestling Entertainment in 2008 and was assigned to their farm territory Florida Championship Wrestling, where he worked as Kris Logan. He left the promotion next year and began working in the American independent circuit, most notably Pro Wrestling Guerrilla as Brian Cage-Taylor.

In 2014, Button was hired to appear in El Rey Network television series Lucha Underground, where he performed as Cage. Since Lucha Underground was created by Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, he appeared on several AAA show.

Also, Cage appeared on AAA's American partner Impact Wrestling where he is a former Impact World Champion and a former Impact X Division Champion.
