Last year, with Slammiversary, IMPACT delivered one of the best pay-per-views in recent history. With multiple surprise appearances from former WWE Superstars and huge changes in the company, it shook up the entire wrestling world.

Knockouts Championship Match Deonna Purrazo (c) vs Thunder Rosa IMPACT World Championship No Disqualification Match Kenny Omega (c) (w / Don Callis) vs Sami Callihan There were also interludes between matches, starting with a video summary of the rivalry between Matt Cardona and Brian Myers prior to their Mixed Tag Team Match.

Moving on we saw, for this last match mentioned, the appearance of Chelsea Green alongside her boyfriend Matt Cardona as a mysterious partner, with the return of her old gimmick. Also worth noting is Thunder Rosa as the mysterious opponent of Deonna Purrazzo, in fact until tonight it was not yet known who would challenge the reigning champion and the appearance of No Way Jose, former WWE, who kept the gimmick he had even before.

And after the women's title match, Mickie James appeared to congratulate Deonna and invite her to NWA EMPOWERRR, with the IMPACT champion refusing and Mickie responding by slapping and kicking her, feeling disrespectful. This year, with IMPACT Slammiversary 2021, the company will be looking to replicate the success.
