The National Wrestling Alliance is preparing in the best possible way in view of Alwayz Ready, the PPV with a name entirely dedicated to its greatest champion, NWA Worlds Champion Matt Cardona, broadcast on June 11th through the streaming application Fite TV.
In the process of the event, however, important changes seem to arrive in the course of work. Matt Cardona seems to have been injured during a recent Game Changer Wrestling show and this could lead him to an operation in a short time, but still such timing as to keep him away from the ring.
The night before the GCW show, in another independent event, Cardona was defeated by Rich Swann with the latter graduating as the new Impact Digital Media Champion, only to suffer in the post-match an attack by Matt who returned backstage with the belt, no longer belonging to him.
This match/segment was also shown last Thursday during the latest episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV and YouTube for subscribers to the Impact Ultimate Insiders service. Obviously, the Canadian federation did not mention the injury of its former Digital Media Champion in the slightest, instead, something has been done by the NWA in a "veiled" way, suggesting some news for the PPV.
What's next for Matt Cardona?
In its statement, the National Wrestling Alliance has assured the presence of its maximum champion on the show and it will be Matt Cardona himself who will provide new and further details regarding his status and whether he will be able to defend the title in the scheduled match against Nick Aldis.
in their second act after the first fight held in the Crockett Cup. Cardona became the holder of the 10 Pounds of Gold last February, managing to overcome Trevor Murdoch and staging his stable in which he has always been joined by his wife, Chelsea Green, as also happens in the last period in that of Impact Wrestling.
Waiting for further updates, all that remains is to wait until next week to really understand how this story will turn out in the long-awaited PPV of the company held by the well-known singer-songwriter, Billy Corgan.
