Tessa Blanchard was released

After over a period of inactivity due to being fired by IMPACT Wrestling due to her backstage behavior and major allegations of racism by some co-workers, Tessa Blanchard was back with Women Of Wrestling. Unfortunately, however, in the first days of May, it was reported that there would be some problems between Tessa herself and the management of WOW, with the wrestler who seems to have been removed.

The Fightful site had in fact reported that Tessa was not included in the internal plans of the WOW and was not present at the recent tapings, which we know have also been carried out by the social updates of the federation and AJ Lee.

Tessa Blanchard was fired

According to journalist Brad Shepard, Women of Wrestling, also abbreviated WOW, has released Tessa Blanchard permanently. Here is how the Ringside News reported: “Some sources have told Shepard that Blanchard is returning to Texas due to the proverbial bridge with the company that was burned.

Blanchard was initially suspended from the company after clashing with AJ Lee. It was also reported that Blanchard used bad words while training against other talents. After the talents spoke to WOW owner Jeanie Bush, an investigation took place that led to Blanchard's suspension.

Shepard also reports that the new CBS was not impressed with the new talent brought into the company and asked to bring Blanchard back. This ultimately led to many talents disagreeing with Tessa Blanchard's return, and at least some said they wouldn't return as long as Blanchard stayed there."

For now, further official communications are awaited from the company, which hopefully will come out as they have invested heavily in the return of this project with the presence of AJ Lee and Tessa Blanchard. Per Ross Sapp's report, the company will relaunch in 2022, and a press conference on Wednesday will announce the rebranding of the former WOW promotion. Sapp notes that an actual roster for the promotion isn't currently in place, and only Blanchard and one other unnamed WOW talent are presently attached to the product.

Tessa Blanchard potentially signing with NGW should put an end to the persistent rumors about whether the former IMPACT World Champion would land in either WWE or All Elite Wrestling. Various outlets have reported over the last several months that neither company is interested in bringing her in.
