Slammiversary 2022: Results

IMPACT Wrestling celebrated its 20 years with the pay-per-view Slammiversary which was held on June 19, 2022 at the Asylum in Nashville, the same facility where it all began. Now we are ready to tell you what happened during this very important evening for the company and please, as always, fasten your seat belts because surprises were certainly not lacking.

Highlights: Given the 20 years of IMPACT Wrestling, several former Superstars who have been part of the company have appeared on video such as AJ Styles, who talked about being in TNA's first ever match in 2002. Styles talked about other iconic moments, thanked the fans for voting him as the most impactful wrestler in the company, and thanked WWE for allowing him to make this video message.

Like him, Kurt Angle and Sting also appeared on video to celebrate these 20 years of IMPACT. Plus, Dixie Carter and Christy Hemme are back in person on the show.

What happened during Slammiversary?

WWE Superstar AJ Styles recently appeared in a video for IMPACT Wrestling's Slammiversary pay-per-view.

The Phenomenal One was associated with IMPACT Wrestling from its inception in 2002 until 2014. Reverse Battle Royal: Shark Boy wins by beating the other participants Ultimate X Match, IMPACT X Division Championship: "Speedball" Mike Bailey defeats Trey Miguel, Andrew Everett, Alex Zayne and Ace Austin to become the new champion IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championships: Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie defeat The Influence to become the new duo champions Monster's Ball Match: Sami Callihan defeats Moose IMPACT World Tag Team Championship: Good Brothers defeat Briscoes and become the new duo champions 10-Man Tag Team Match: IMPACT Originals (Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Davey Richards, Frankie Kazarian & Nick Aldis) defeat Honor No More Queen of the Mountain match, IMPACT Knockouts World Championship: Jordynne Grace defeats Tasha Steelz, Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo and Mia Yim to become the new champion of the women's division in the first match of this type in history for the Knockouts division IMPACT World Championship: Josh Alexander (c) defeats Eric Young thus retaining the champion belt.

"Happy Anniversary, IMPACT Wrestling! It was Huntsville, Alabama, 2002 when myself, Jerry Lynn, Low Ki versus The Flying Elvises. That's when it all started. That was the first match then from there it was Jeff Jarrett and Raven the X-Division, the Ultimate X, the Elevation X.

Matches that I will never forget, matches with Kurt Angle were unbelievable. But the match that changed everything was myself, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels in 2005," Styles said.
