Emergence's main event has been announced

The Impact Wrestling tv tapings are going on stage these days and just recently something important was recorded in view of the next special event of the company. As previously announced by the Canadian federation, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, both soul and heart of Motor City Machine Guns, the team voted by fans as the best tag of the first twenty years of history for Impact, are said to have clashed during the tapings in Louisville.

In the aforementioned match, it was Alex Shelley who triumphed and, for this reason, he will face Josh Alexander in a match valid for the Canadian's Impact World Championship and this match will take place in Emergence.

The event in question will take place on August 12 at Chicago's Cicero Stadium and will be visible through Impact Plus, Impact Ultimate Insiders and Fite TV. The match in question is added to the previous one already announced some time ago, or the Knockouts Championship match between Jordynne Grace called to defend against Mia Yim.

Their brutal and captivating showdown was easily the best match at IMPACT's biggest pay-per-view of the year.

Emergence will also be a key event to understand what kind of developments will involve the Good Brothers, current champions of the couple expiring their contract right after the current weekend.

Will they renew? Will they still hold their titles firmly? Or will the contrasts with the Honor No More lead him to lose his belts and therefore to actually leave the company? Certainly, the next few weeks will help us to better understand everything by clearing our ideas about the future between the two parties.

It has been three months since IMPACT terminated Tessa Blanchard's contract and stripped her of the World Championship. The third-generation star was the face of the company following a fantastic run in 2021. The 26-year-old Blanchard's got a hefty experience on the professional wrestling circuit, having made her way from the indie segment to the WWE before moving on to IMPACT.
