Mickie James Ends Her Last Rodeo

Mickie James is a legendary female wrestler, and she recently ended her ‘The Last Rodeo’ run. Mickie is actually a former WWE professional wrestler. She was at one time the most popular female wrestler that the WWE had.

Her rise to the top started after she started a feud with Trish Stratus. She was an overly obsessed fan of hers according to the storyline. During that time, the WWE gave her a massive push which saw her battle Trish a number of times, and that made her rise to the top of the company.

Mickie James Manages to Capture Her Fifth Knockouts Title

Although she dubbed it ‘The Last Rodeo’ it doesn’t signal the end of her professional wrestling career. It was simply her personal tourney. She wished to capture the Knockouts World Title for the fifth time.

She promised that she will win every single match leading up to her title shot at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view. She fought Jordynne Grace for the title at Hard to Kill for the Knockouts World Title. It was a career vs title match, which is known to be a very high-stakes match for any wrestler.

The match was actually extremely intense with both women performing extremely risky moves that may have ended up with one of them getting seriously injured. Mickie delivered a bulldog from the top rope during the match. Grace delivered a delayed vertical suplex and then later converted it into a Juggernaut Jackhammer.

The match lasted for a total of twenty minutes and the match ended after Mickie delivered a tornado DDT from the corner for the pin. Mickie started “The Last Rodeo” on the 1st of September during an episode of Impact on AXS TV.

She stated that if she lost a single match during her journey towards the Knockouts Title she will retire. She fought Gisele Shaw, Mia Yim, Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo, Taylor Wilde, Tasha Steelz, and Savannah Evans during her journey towards the Knockouts title.

Mickie James started her career around 20 years ago. She signed in 2003 with the WWE but made her main roster debut in 2005. She stayed with the company for five years before she started working for Impact Wrestling. She won her first Knockouts title in 2011 after she beat Madison Rayne for it. After winning two more titles, she made her return to the WWE in 2016.
