Many indie wrestlers wish to see themselves wrestle for the WWE one day. Some even make it to the top of the WWE. The WWE generates millions of dollars every year and can afford to pay its wrestlers really well. That is why, so many wrestlers wish to stay in the WWE once they get in.
A wrestler needs to be really good in order to survive in the WWE. He/she needs to perform well almost every week and develop a fan base fast. That way, he/she secures a place inside the promotion. Mahabali Shera was a WWE developmental talent and he was recently released by the WWE according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Impact Wrestling has apparently signed the wrestler to come work for them again. Shera joined Impact Wrestling in 2015 and stayed there until 2017. He was being used by Impact Wrestling to create an audience in India but he failed to capture any titles.
He made his last appearance in Impact Wrestling at Xplosion. He fought Trevor Lee during that event, which took place in November 2017. He was part of the World Heavyweight Title Series of 2015, but failed to win. That was probably the biggest push that he received while being at Impact.
Shera was known as Amanpreet Singh in NXT. He only used to participate in Live Events. He failed to garner attention and didn’t have a very unique move set either.
